YO all! I am very sorry. No time to make changes for the previous posts. Those who were offended and responded, very sorry. Will change when I have the time. Today. I realised life is always offering something new. Especially as someone who has gone through thick and thin. I was always wondering why, God was always testing people. But sometimes we find ourselves testing ourselves. Sometimes decisions we make don't seem to go with what we really want to do. But do we realise that... WE HAVE FAILED TO MAKE THE SITUATION SUITABLE TO WHAT WE WANT THE SITUATION TO BE MADE OUT FOR OURSEVES DUE TO UNFORSEEN CIRCUMSTANCES...
Hua Feng blinked out of the way, just in time to avoid the laser beam.
"Haha... You can time shift?!" Chien Lin exclaimed, as he kept away his laser gun away. "Could you be the one who has been up to all the strange things that have happened?"
"No la! Of course not..."
Chien smiled widely and looked into Hua Feng's eyes humorously, interupting almost immediately, "then explain why the wierd things happen when you are around...hmm?"
"Wha-..."
"That day when Daryl and Adz, both got attacked by the deadly sonic waves... YOU WERE AT THE SCENE!"
"How'd you know...?"
"You were standing at the bridge of the linkage... Which was just behind the atrium, where Daryl and Adz were attacked that night! I saw you...Hee~"
"And also! When you came back from the toilet the other day! The shields went off, and the air-con malfunctioned. When Adz spoke to you... YOU WERE ACTING WIERD!"
"Ahh... Stop, stop, stop! Today we're here to have fun, not talk about wierd happenings at school... Anyway wierd things happen all the time," Xavier cut in, reviving the easing atmosphere.
"Hahaha! Yeah! Okie...Let's go have fun then," Chien agreed and went off, leaving a tight grin at Hua Feng.
As the sun was setting, the group went home. David took the time to follow Hua Feng and walked to the jetty with heavy footsteps.
"What happening to you sia?" David asked. "You like always sot-sot one."
As the island's light seem to fade like a fan into the back, a flock of crows flew in the distance. The levia-jet had also arrived, and as the two boarded the ferry, Hua Feng told David about everything that had happened. In the distance, a pair of red eyes stared at the couple with an incessant rage.
"Today Toonz we will learn about...erh.."
Bhakta was one of the senior lecturers of NYP SIDM. This kindred spirit was one of the most dedicated lecturers of the school. It was rumored he had a mechanical heart, but it was just a rumor.
Hua Feng thought of what David had told him.
"Injection? You better check what he put in you sia..."
Hua Feng did not tell David about his time-shift ability though. After a few days, he thought the matter would rest and did not think of it. As he was leaving the room, he knocked into a young man, falling over.
"Sorry..."
"Nevermind...Let me help you up..."
Shawn Ye held Hua Feng up, and very gently touched his hand to balance him. The delicate touch raised chills in Hua Feng's spine. Shawn shot a delicate smile, which seemed to make flowers bloom and a heavenly scent fill the room.
After that, he teleported away.
That night a secret council was held. At the fountain within the campus, when the river dragons who reside within were asleep, Xavier and Adz met up to discuss about the recent chain of strange events.
"Cannot tahan ah!!!" Adz exclaimed. "The truth needs revealing, who are the people behind the killing spree at the atrium?"
"Only time will tell... But for now we can plan what we must do to make Hua Feng tell us his problem," Xavier spoke.
"Good idea," replied Adz. "Hua Feng must tell us!!!"
Just then, a crack of lightning rang overhead, and it struck the building closest to Xavier and Adz. Then followed a chain streaks of white bolts linking to all the closest lightning deflectors.
Xavier raised his hand and as if the space started falling apart, the lightning chains split into different directions away into the sky, like a rocket, forming an image plan, before it shattered into shards of glass; and the sky returned to plain darkness.
"Woah... Space Distortion!" Adz exclaimed.
But as Xavier put his hand down, he collapsed and coughed blood.
"Xavier!!"
