Chapter 8 YOZ! We've come so far. The story reaches an exciting climax when the war between the mastermind and the sketch group. There are some changes to the previous story because I want to make it more surprising. I need to compile the story together soon... Hope you guys enjoy it while it lasted!
Hua Feng gasped. The creatures were breathing loudly, and as Hua Feng approached the glowing scroll resting on the high pedestal. He felt someone choke his neck from behind.
"Agh!"
Before him a man wearing a wolf mask appeared right before the pedestal behind the towering reptiles. Hua Feng tried to struggle. But he failed, for the man holding him was too strong.
"How sad. You're gonna die, and you won't know the secret of the manuscript," said the man in the mask. "Smart you got some information from a smart bitch. Well here she is."
The masked man pulled out a head from a box he was holding. It was the head of Weena, one of the lecturers. Hua Feng gsaped. The head suddenly opened up it's eyes and spoke, "Hua Feng...Run..."
"How are you able to speak?" Hua Feng asked tearfully.
"This is not me...Just go! It's an illusion."
The masked man threw the head back into the box and fled. Just as he jumped down the cliff, the box disappeared. Hua Feng quickly lunged forward after the man, accidentally tripping the over a pebble, awakening the Giganotosaurus. There was a thundering pounding noise, as the beasts got up quickly. Then they spotted Hua Feng, and roared at him. Wind blew into his face and his hair flew wildly. He quickly got up, and ran for his life.
The masked man was already a few metres ahead of him. He was unable to catch the mask man at this rate. But could he escape the dinosaurs was another matter.
Hua Feng took out a colorful tube device Weena had given to him before he consulted her on the mission. It was supposed to be used when times were in need. Hua Feng tried to time shift, but failed. The masked man probably placed some silence around the area. The man who grabbed him earlier, where did he go so quickly? He must've used Hua Feng's power to blink out. He must've been the silencer.
Weena told him before that she suspected that the mastermind had a silencer with him. A very quiet guy who loved being... silent like the wind.
Hua Feng had no other option. Just as he opened the bottle, one of the Giganotosaurus clamped onto him in it's jaws. He screamed in pain as he felt his bones and flesh being crushed by the strong bite. The bottle released an elemental blast, stunning the two towering beasts. They let go of Hua Feng and fell to the side. Hua Feng tried to get up, but was too weakened.
Just then, a white figure approached him and touched him. It was... David. David held him up and gave him a medical kit. The kit started to open up and automatic arms reached out to apply healing aura and some manipulators, slowly restoring Hua Feng into one piece.
"GH is dead la..." David told Hua Feng.
"How you get here... sia?" Hua Feng questioned weakly.
"Weena gave me a time portal. She told me to look for you lo... Can't believe you dio owned here..."
"Let's go back to NYP sia..."
Just then showers of fire fell from the sky. A tremendous quake was felt from all over. Hua Feng quickly held on to David, and tried to time-shift. David pushed Hua Feng away.
"What sia! I not gay okay?"
"No la I'm just trying to..."
"Now not the time sia! Let's go back through the portal Weena set up for us!"
Cries of dinosaurs screaming were heard from far away. The showers of fire fell onto David and Hua Feng, and they jumped in pain when it hit them. Their worst nightmare was not over. A cloud of dust started to grow from the mountains behind them. The dust was blowing the Giganotosaurus high up into the sky. Where would they fly to if the cloud hit them? David and Hua Feng feared the worst, as the cloud was barely metres away from them, the jumped into the portal...
...And landed safely in NYP.
"The manuscript... is gone."
David smiled, and he pulled out a torn scroll from his pocket.
"I got the other half."
Adz walked towards Hua Feng and whacked his head.
"You ah! RAWRS! Never go for sketch club ah you!" Adz exclaimed.
"We're glad you are safe," Xavier said.
Suddenly, a tremor rang out over the whole of NYP.
"Hand over the other half of the manuscript or die!" came a loud voice.
Suddenly, a whole array of mechanical wolves surrounded them. Adz raised his AK47+ and started to fire. But there was no effect to the metallic armor the robots were wearing. He quickly switched to a Meziah, which fired pellets like a machine gun and laser beams from three cannons. The robots blew up before they were destroyed and the group was badly burnt by the explosion.
"AHHH!" Adz growled, as he collapsed to the ground. "Cunning sluts!"
"How'd you like this my dear?" said a woman from above, and she kissed him in the lips.
It was a very beautiful woman, who spoke with a wierd accent. It was as if old times came back to him like a vast vision of array.
